A 1979 Archaeological Survey of the Steiner-Schob complex included the family photo, above, taken circa 1900 with the people identified as: (LtoR) Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hohman, HW Hohman and son, Adolph Schob, Minnie Schob Hohman with son (Fred) and daugther (Augusta), Augusta Schob, Minna Steiner Schob, Bianca Steiger, Alvina Berger (seated), Emelie Hohman Reeves (child), Emelie (Amelia) Schob, John Berger.
Frederich died May 11, 1920 and Minna died August 30, 1923. They are buried in Steiner Cemetery.

Anna Wilhelmina (Minnie) Maria Steiner was born on February 1, 1841, in Kamitz, Kreis Neisse, Prussia, to parents Carl and Victoria Steiner. Frederick Henry Schaub (Schob) was born on July 10, 1835 in Brenham, Prussia.
Minnie and Frederick were married July 28,1866, and had six children:
- Amelia Schob, b. May 19,1873; d. September 21, 1921
- Adolph Schob
- Bianca Schob (married Joe Steiger)
- Alvina Schob (married John Berger)
- Augusta Schob (married Richard Jacob)
- Minna Schob
